ALP-FIX ® FIBRES IN FIRE

The effectiveness of ALP-FIX MICROFIBRE 30 as antispalling admixture in concrete is show the results of fire test according to  directive “Inner Shell Concrete” (Innenschalenbeton) – Austrian Society for Concrete and Construction, (Österreichische Vereinigung für Beton- und Bautechnik) ed. 2003

Conditions of the test:
Two concrete blocks with 2 kg/m³  MICROFIBRE 30, 6 mm length have been exposed to fire following the RWS temperature curve for  120 min.
The applied concrete – C25 | 30 (56) RRS/W40/ , W/C= 0,53, spread slump = 530 mm and air content 6,50% ( Vol.)  was reinforced with BST550/ST and 1570/1770 steel rods coverage 40 mm.

Results :
No spalling on the fire side of the concrete block according to the requirements of the of the directive “Inner Shell Concrete”  of Österreichische Vereinigung für Beton- und Bautechnik  ed. 2003 what corresponds to the rating: Fire Resistance Class BB2G.
